Hi, I'm Jermaine Griggs, founder of this site. We teach people how to express themselves through the language of music. Just as you talk and listen freely, music can be enjoyed and played in the same way... if you know the rules of the "language!" I started this site at 17 years old in August 2000 and more than a decade later, we've helped literally millions of musicians along the way. Enjoy!

Attention: To learn more about this, I recommend our 500+ page course: The "Official Guide To Piano Playing." Click here for more information.

I play blues finger style guitar.
My only interest in your program would be in this genre.
Are there Midi files available for slow blues, shuffles or boogie woogie?
Most (95%) of my music is from dead musicians and is considered early folk or roots music.

Yes, Stephen, there are tons of midi files on the net along these styles. Song tutor is a tool with a browser that pretty much lets you explore the web from a musical perspective. You can either download our free trial and play with it risk-free, or google your style of music with “midi file” on the end and see what types of files you get. You can still open midi files on your computer but you will only hear sound. If what you hear is pleasing, it might be time to upgrade to full version of song tutor.
