The Gospel Music Training Center's core goal is to get you playing your favorite gospel songs in the quickest and easiest way possible (and when I say "quickest," I mean in days, not months or years).

Yes, I know that sounds like a bunch of baloney. If I weren't the founder of the training center, I'd be thinking the same thing --- but it's true. Dozens of members are sending in stories of how they're now playing songs they've always wanted to play in just a few days, thanks to the step-by-step online lessons of the Gospel Music Training Center.

You see, the club isn't geared towards giving you a bunch of boring information you don't need. If we wanted to look good with "hundreds of pages of articles" and stuff, we could... but that's not what the club is all about. You can go to wikipedia or any online encyclopedia site to get a bunch of boring articles on music theory.

The training center aims at teaching you real songs and how to understand the inner workings of those songs so you can eventually learn them on your own.

So on one end, you're learning songs right away. Period. Some students report watching one quick 23 minute lesson and being able to play that particular song in less than an hour. It is an online video training center that you can log into any time you want... and learn at your own pace. It's entire FOCUS is on getting you to learn song patterns.

You see, songs follow patterns. And not only are we showing you the patterns, but we're putting them together for you! In all my experience, I've learned that people just want to play and that's what The Gospel Music Training Center focuses on.

Here are the key areas of the club:

Song Pattern Library:

When you first log into the club, you'll find song pattern lessons already waiting for you. I'm talking about lessons that focus on patterns from songs like "Never Would Have Made It," "Now Behold The Lamb," "I Need You," "Battlefield," "God's Got A Blessing," "Grateful," "Pass Me Not," and more.

Each song pattern lesson is broken into THREE VIDEO TAKES, ranging from 15-30 minutes each (if you had a private teacher, each one of these 30 minute lessons would cost you at least $40-$55).

Video "Take 1": This is where we'll lay the foundation. You'll learn the underlying chords, structure, and patterns behind your favorite songs. Since songs follow the same general patterns, you'll start seeing a lot of "connections" and "similarities" (which is the ultimate goal... for you to be able to learn songs on your own).

Video "Take 2": This is where you'll get fancy and what I call "expanded" stuff. You'll learn two-hand voicings and little runs and nuances in between. If you look at that big overwhelming chart I posted above, this is all the stuff in the lower right corner. All the little "extras." This will suit experienced musicians very well.

Video "Take 3" Theory Talk: This is where you get the underlying theory of the song. If there was anything that couldn't be talked about in takes 1 and 2 (because of time constraints), they are further elaborated in the "theory talk" videos. This is where I bust out my charts (like above) and help you to make sense of it all.

Combined, these three video approaches provide a "360 degree" comprehensive learning experience.

Each week, you'll get 1-2 new lessons with 3 video "takes" (ranging from 15-30 minutes each... well over an hour or two combined). Sometimes, we'll even throw in extra lessons depending on the feedback we get.

Archives:

Every lesson that is released stays in the club forever. You don't have to worry about rearranging your schedule to catch a lesson. They are added to the club and accessible at any time.

When new lessons are added, old ones fall into the 'ARCHIVES.' You can access these forever.

Note: For security purposes, you will not be able to see past lessons (from before you joined) until you've been a member for 90 days. After 90 days, you automatically get upgraded at no cost to a "GOLD" member and you're then free to access as many past lessons as you want (This 90 day restriction is just the lessons that were released before you joined. You'll always have access to archived lessons that were released after you joined.)

Hello, My name is Mark from Maryland. I've always wanted to play the piano but couldn't until one day I turned on my computer and I seen an advertisement saying " If you can hear it, you can play it" from Hearandplay. First I need to say a big thank you to you Jermaine. This is a really good cause and God will bless you tremendously and expand your horizon even beyond your imagination. The videos, bi-weekly conference and even the chat room have all helped with my keyboard playing. I know I play a lot better now and people around me are noticing the change. I used to be very lazy but your program has kept me busy due to the following. -I used to consider some skills as very difficult, but your step by step approach and music theory has broken this misconception. Your ipod compatible lessons and downloads even maje it easier. I play the lessons on my ipod during the day, learning tips and doing mental analysis. The 1st thing I do when I get home now is to jump on my keyboard and practice them. Now I don't have to be in front of my TV or computer to watch your videos. You really have kept me going. I really enjoy learning how to play the new contemporary, as well as the Old Time Gospel Songs! Hey Jermaine! Gods' goodwill and peace be with you my precious Brother! If the truth be known, GMTC is the best site for musical ministry learning in the world. There is nothing lacking. The price itself is a great blessing from the riches of heaven provided through brothers who will receive their crowns from the Father of Gifts when the time comes. I am 59 years young, and even I am learning this material. With such visual aids, and patience of the instructors, it is almost unbelievable that such a thing is available in this egotistical and selfish world. I have added three complete songs to my repertoire, even with my full schedule. The only reason that my number is low is because I need to discipline myself to learning one song at a time. I'm telling you that I feel like a kid in a candy factory. Now, not only am I an accomplished guitar player, I can actually substitute for a late arriving keyboardist.
