If you’re a gospel musician or dream of becoming one, I have a treat for you today. At GospelMusicTraining.com, we’ve taken 3 videos out of our vast 300-hour library of gospel lessons and posted them absolutely free.

All you gotta do is head over to¬†GospelMusicTraining.com, fill out the form that says, “3 Free Gospel Lessons,” and you’ll be well on your way.

These aren’t quick lessons either. You’ll easily be getting over an hour to 90 minutes of lessons (depending on whether you choose beginner, intermediate, or advanced). So head over there now… you won’t be sorry! Click here.

Hi, I'm Jermaine Griggs, founder of this site. We teach people how to express themselves through the language of music. Just as you talk and listen freely, music can be enjoyed and played in the same way... if you know the rules of the "language!" I started this site at 17 years old in August 2000 and more than a decade later, we've helped literally millions of musicians along the way. Enjoy!

I took years of piano lessons as a child. I can read sheet music but am useless with my left hand. I have taken 3 of the 4 free lessons and should be able to take the fourth next week. I do weekly services at an assisted living home and we have a full choir. My need/desire/goal is to be able to play on the piano traditional hymns like How Great Thou Art, Just As I am you get the picture. Please tell me where I need to begin and what I need to purchase. Also, please take a look at my website and pray for my success with your playing system that I may be all I can be for God.

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to the site. Considering you want to play traditional hymns, I recommend Gospelkeys 101 and/or the Gospel Music Training Center (which is filled with tons of hymn lessons, among other things). These will give you the fundamentals and techniques you need to not only play hymns but learn them on your own using a 3 step process. Gospelkeys 101 can be found at http://www.gospelkeys101.com. Gospel Music Training center can be found at http://www.gospelmusictraining.com.

    Thanks,
    JG
